| I spent most of the day today playing in Dreamweaver...I didn't learn much. I deleted all of my galleries and am slowly adding more. My Webmaster is out of town at Burning Man, which I forgo this year... :( Next year! So, when he comes back I will have him update the galleries to show thumbnails, as that function seems to be broken in my upload process. | I'm slowly picking up things on how to do my site all by myself! I recently (as you may have noticed) updated my splash page with a page I played with and can now update with new photos as the mood strikes. In other news, I'm taking things easy till the beginning of the new year, and not shooting so much right now. After the new year, I plan to start shooting constantly. I'm working on getting a new camera, the Nikon D200, which is brand new on the market as of 12/15/05. That should happen sometime in January. Other than that, as I pick up more information, I will continue to tweek things on the site. | I am eagerly working on things for Halloween. I have two costumes this year, for 3 events I'm doing. I will be club photographer at Miss Kittys Parlour both Friday and Saturday, which will be a lot of fun, as Desert Sin is performing Friday, and Dita Von Tease and Dirty Sanchez will be performing Saturday. Monday I will be down at the West Hollywood Street festival checking out the incredible costumes that people work all year on. Mine, I've only been working on for a few weeks. :) I have 2 sets I'm prepping to put up, so keep checking back - one is from a shoot I did for www.Ifuckinghateyou.com and the other is an addition to my series: Pretty in Death, where Crow is a hussy who is murdered in a Jack the Ripper style. | I was at a ren faire last weekend, so I didn't get the opportunity to do any shoots, and now I feel lost and desperate to do a shoot. I'm very excited. I have two shoots tomorrow which I'm looking forward to. I have one for www.Ifuckinghateyou.com, which will be the images they use throughout the site. It is a fun little site. For those of you who don't take yourselves too seriously - You should check it out. Then the second shoot is with Crow - It is my Jack the Ripper shoot. I've been wanting to do this shoot for years. I found the alley where we will be shooting about 4 years ago. I've been waiting for the opportunity ever since! Other goings on: I am currently booking for November. I'm also teaching myself Dreamworks - how to navigate it. Once I understand how it all works, the site will be changed. I've already created a new splash page for the front... fun fun! | Finally out here in the US. I received my two copies the other day, and it includes some other fabulous photographers, in addition to myself of course! I have 6 images in the book starting on page 24. Thank you to the lovely ladies who are featured. *note: One of the images accepted is one from a shoot with the late Eva Lux. Eva passed away a short while ago. I am glad she will be remembered in this book. Thank you to everyone who helped me select the images for this submission. | I do believe that Yahoo groups deleted my group. Which is really no big deal, as I don't think the service was all that helpful (to me). I intend to start a mailing list here so people can remain informed about updates and the like. It just seems like bad policy on Yahoo's part to delete a group without warning or notice OR explanation. If I was in violation of TOS agreements, I didn't realize it and would have been happy to correct it. Ah, well. They had too many restrictions anyway. In other news, I am finally up to date on all of my shoots and will be working on uploading them tonight. I'm also working on a Cafepress.com shop. That should be up and going fairly soon. I intend to offer a couple of calenders through their services. One will be my Deadly Dolls and the other will be my Nursery rhymes and faerie tales series... | I've been shooting a lot in the last few weeks. and working very hard to get the images touched up so I can post them here. I've worked with some lovely girls and can't wait to share the work we did together. Some of my focus recently has been gore. ooh fun! A shoot with the lovely Jezebelle X, as a pin up horror queen... she ended up covered in blood on my studio floor. Another with the wicked anime/gothic Lolita Dolly - Melodie Gore, for my Deadly Dolls part I shoot, which is my favorite thing to shoot. Photofest II was last weekend, I worked with Kitty Gallanis, Nacht Engel, Fetish Jade, and several other beautiful models. Those images to be posted very soon. | Yesterday was the shoot with Ugly Shyla and Void. It was a fun and very productive shoot. Ugly Shyla is a pleasure to work with. She is comfortable in front of the camera and is very forthright. Void was completely understanding of my lack of direction. It's been a long time since I've photographed a guy! Then the two of them together work like a dream. | Okay. Things have smoothed out for me. I am now looking for new models to work with and am interested in setting up new shoots. Here is the dealio with my work - Moving forward, I intend to do all TFCD - Time for CD shoots. the images will be hi-res. All negative shots that I do will be for gallery/exhibition purposes only. That said - there are a few people who I owe a proof sheet and prints to. I will be working on those this weekend and will get them to you asap. | Well, I've recently been dealing with some pretty intense personal issues, top most right now is the fact that my mother has cancer and has to go in for surgery. I will be shooting periodically through out the next month, but for now plan to keep things fairly limited. After August, hopefully my mom will be back on her feet and need less assistance. At that point, I plan to charge headfirst into shooting with anyone who is interested in working with me. Until then, please be patient with me, and think good thoughts toward my mom. | I've decided to work on a few new projects/themes. **Theme #1 - sheer raincoat w/ umbrella. I'm looking for models willing to be nude/semi-nude under a sheer or frosty raincoat, w/ an umbrella (the more interesting the better). The shoot will take place in a private back yard and will indclude water. If you have an interesting raincoat or umbrella, so much the better. Imagination is very welcome as this will be a collaboration shoot. :) Theme #2 Hot Chix Sundaes. Girls willing to get transformed into a hot chick sundae. Whipped cream, chocolate sauce, nuts.. cherries.. solo or couples... This shoot will be fun and sexy... | I've been terribly busy the last few weeks. It seems like there is no time in the week for anything. I have shoots booked for week nights this month, and starting in June will be shooting on weekends again. I am going back to focusing on Black and White photography. I submitted some work to the Mammoth Book of Erotica. I won't know for another month or so if I have work in it, so everyone keep your fingers crossed for me. I am very close to completing my Nursery Rhymes and Faerie tales shoots - I have Snow White, Puss in Boots, and Little Bo Peep left to do. Ah, scheduling nightmares... :) I am also going to be focusing on the "Hot Chicks Sundaes" theme, the brainstorm of the Lovely Chloe Sparkle - burlesque dancer and model - she is Alice in Wonderland in my Naughty Nursery Rhymes and Faerie tales series. Any ladies interested in that should contact me soon. I have recently convinced a lovely friend of mine to do make up for all of my shoots... | I have a shoot tomorrow with the lovely Jezabelle X as a dark twisted Dorothy from Wizard of Oz.... And a shoot later in the evening with Mistress Persephone as Little Miss Muffett, Vanessa Nocei will be doing make up and Hair for that shoot. | Okay, here it is... I have a small show this Wednesday - I will be exhibiting 2 images at The Metro Sexual Gallery - Redefined. The show opens to the public at 10pm, if you rsvp, you get in for free. It should be a blast, as it is a club as well as a show. | I will be shooting the group shoot for the LA portion of Wicked Talent. I'm not certain which lovely ladies will be involved, however, I do know that Donna Ricci will be a part of the crew-After all, she did set it up. She promises me that the costumes will definitely be sinful and wicked. *grin* The shoot will be done Cabaret Style and all the ladies will be in various states of undress. I will post some of the photos on my yahoo group - and eventually more here for your enjoyment. You will also be able to see some of them in upcoming issues of Gothic Beauty, and possibly several other magazines. Other shoots I am working on at the moment are Little Red Riding hood with KJ - fabulous hoola hooper and performer for LA/Burning Man based band Mutaytor. This shoot will be this Sunday, and I will post new photos early next week from that shoot on my yahoo group. A shoot is in the works with Kitty Diggins - we are working out scheduling issues. Also coming next weekend, a shoot with Eva Lux, and Shannon, a fabulous go-go dancer some of you may have seen around in the LA goth scene - also makes a mean drink when she is behind the counter. I have 3 shoots on Sunday - the first is with the lovely Lola the Vamp (View pix of her from our previous shoot at my yahoo group in the photos section in her gallery) next with Rhiannon, and lastly with Jon M. Jon M will be the star of my Little Miss Muffett. | Okay, so I've been super busy shooting, and working my day job and trying to make sense of the world as it is. :) I have a new project in the works, involving lots of sassy models, and naughty nursery rhymes and faerie tale themes. My first shoot for that is tomorrow, featuring the lovely Regan of www.The-High-Priestess.com. I will be working with a new make up artist, Vanessa of www.vanessanocei.com. I'm very pleased with what I have seen of her work and am looking forward to working with her. My wonderful webmaster has been hard at work, and is planning to update the site, even though all of the behind the scene stuff isn't finished. So you will get to see work that hasn't been posted to the web anywhere quite soon. Though my scanner is being a dastardly bastard and won't seem to work with my computer. I shall have to bribe one of my IT friends to come assist me with my difficulties. Lastly, I have decided to try to sell some work on Ebay. If you are a fan, it would help me greatly if you were to stop by and take a look... and maybe even bid on it. If things go as well as I hope, I will be selling more and more of my work through Ebay... and eventually in the store that will be here on the site. | My wonderful webmaster is still working on the behind the scenes construction of my site. We are really working hard to make everything move smoothly and easily update-able. ;) As soon as he is able to get the new layout for the site done, I will be able to upload images at MY whim. Which will be at least monthly, for now - After I graduate, I hope to be able to do bi-monthly updates. But graduation is still a while off. | Well, Josie did not have enough time before her later appointment to do the shoot with me. Donna and I will be rescheduling a shoot for later (hopefully this month). It will be just her and I as Josie is heading back home to Seattle. I will definately let you know when she and I get together. However, I did do another shoot, using the old zoo, those pictures to come. I tried something different, I'm quite excited about the shots I did of HIM. Yes, for all of you girls out there that have been requesting that I photograph some male models, pictures of him will be coming soon. I received an email this morning confirming a shoot with Gothic Supermodel Donna Ricci and the lovely Josie Nutter for the 1st of March. This promises to be a very fun shoot. They both have a variety of looks to pull from and are both very talented women. Other shoots that I have coming up: Another shoot with The High Priestess Regan, as well as a shoot with 2 of the girls from Hoop Revolution, sexy hoolahooping, doesn't get much better. | The site was down for a few days. I apologize sincerely to any who were inconvenienced. My domain expired, and as I no longer use the email address that was listed as my main address, I did not receive any notification. All is good now, as you can see.
