Saryn Angel Photography started with a lot of indecision and a lot of changes, the way that all passions seem to. I first picked up a camera when I was 13 years old. I have always been a visual person, but with age and experience my work continues to grow and improve.

I can't say that I have any specific influences; names and images fade from my mind after a while. There are many artists I respect immensely, but I tend to draw my inspiration from what I find attractive and desirable. I love the feeling of leather, I love the look of a woman bound tightly in a corset, accentuating her curves, her chest heaving. Long dark hair, sultry and sensuous looks. Body modification, tattoos, piercings, scars. High heels, and garter belts. Betty Page, of course, comes to mind. I love knowledgeable looks mixed with an innocent smile; dark shadows with a startling streak of light.

I enjoy working with my models as people. I don’t usually have a set agenda in mind when I do a photo shoot. I want my models to choose outfits that they are comfortable with; things that make them feel sexy. I am much more relaxed and comfortable with letting things flow, letting each person's attitude and individuality shine through. There are few times that I feel as at ease as when I am behind my camera.
